RAND Review is the flagship magazine of the RAND Corporation. RAND is a research organization that develops solutions to public policy challenges to help make communities throughout the world safer and more secure, healthier and more prosperous. RAND is nonprofit, nonpartisan, and committed to the public interest.

RAND’s research and analysis address issues that impact people around the world, including security, health, education, sustainability, growth, and development. As a nonpartisan organization, RAND is widely respected for operating independent of political and commercial pressures.

RAND’s research is supported by a global clientele that includes government agencies, foundations, other nonprofits, and private-sector firms. Additionally, RAND relies on philanthropic support to reach beyond the scope of client-sponsored work to tackle questions that may be too big, too complex, or too new for its clients to address.

RAND is a global organization. RAND’s North American locations include Santa Monica, California, the home of its headquarters campus and the Pardee RAND Graduate School; Arlington, Virginia; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Boston, Massachusetts. The RAND Gulf States Policy Institute is in New Orleans, Louisiana. Our newest office is in the San Francisco Bay Area. RAND Europe is located in Cambridge, United Kingdom, and Brussels, Belgium. RAND Australia is located in Canberra.
